Colloquia: Normal big single seminar by one speakers (normal props to be used as the speaker wishes)
Chalk & Talk: On the board presentation and discussion lead by the two people indicated. No computer aided presentation. A few key plots/figures may be printed out for circulation. [“Aspen-summer-workshop” style sessions]
Student organised/lead discussion session on the topics of the week: The students are responsible for organising a discussion and/or presentation of one or several topics covered during the week that they want to know more about or get a deeper understanding of. Format as the students decide.
In addition we expect the participants to organise informal presentations/discussion. The rules for these are: a) Decide on topic and what you want to do, b) let the organisers know when you will do it (to avoid clashes), c) invite everyone at the workshop to attend (if they want to).
